After a few teases over the weekend, Call of Duty developer Sledgehammer Games has announced that tomorrow, May 5th, Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners can add a brand new firearm to their arsenal. The new weapon is a revolver called the M1 Irons. While the stats of the new gun haven’t been released, it is probably fair to say that the newest pistol will pack a punch.
Sledgehammer has only announced that the game is coming to Xbox as of right now, but following the precedent set by map packs, it is probably fair to guess the M1 is coming to PC and PlayStation sometime later this month. Additionally, the developer has yet to specify if the pistol will cost gamers. In the past, downloadable weapons for Advanced Warfare were only free to season pass holders, but who knows, maybe this will be a free added bonus for everyone just for playing. Stranger things have happened!
Well over a month ago, the second map pack for Advanced Warfare titled ‘Ascendence’ launched on Xbox One and Xbox 360. What may have flown under your radar, however, was that the pack finally launched on other platforms last week! If you have the season pass for Advanced Warfare, the pack should download for free automatically – if not, the pack costs $14.99. I’ve played the new maps and modes a fair amount, and I must say the grapple tool alone makes it worth the price! Check out the trailer!
