Xbox Preview Program Ramps Up For E3

With a little over a week to go until the Xbox conference, behind the scenes updates are coming almost daily

With all the subtle hints from Phil Spencer and Major Nelson over the past few days, it seems Xbox gamers can expect one or more software side bombs to be dropped at E3. Whether the announced features will be Xbox to Windows 10 game streaming or something more in tune with a beta available to preview members is yet to be determined.

While I know many gamers are looking forward to games streaming, I’m really hoping for beta access to some of the games coming this fall. After the leaks in April, I wouldn’t say it’s impossible that preview members could gain access to a Gears of War Remaster beta.

Regardless of what’s coming, surely we’ll all having something to talk about the night after the conference.

Bonus Round:

Speaking of Gears of War, earlier this week, studio head Rod Fergusson announced that his team working on Gears will no longer be called Black Tusk but rather The Coalition. In his rebranding video, he even showed off the slick new logo! Check it out!

What do you think Xbox preview members can expect from the conference? What are your biggest hopes from the Xbox team? Feel free to let me know on Twitter!
