After being announced over a year ago, fans of the long-running Star Fox franchise finally have a solid date to look forward to.
In a bundle of fresh Nintendo news, it has been revealed that Star Fox Zero (or Star Fox Wii U as I fondly call it) is coming to both North America and Europe on November 20th. While the game is primarily being built internally by Nintendo developers, the game is also being co-developed by Platinum Games. Platinum is best known as the creators of Bayonetta and the Wonderful 101 for the Wii U and is concurrently working on Xbox One exclusive Scalebound.
At E3 last June, Nintendo leaned heavily into Star Fox hype and showed off rather expansive gameplay sections which are a must-see for fans of the series. Take a look!
With a solid release date set for the States and Europe, Nintendo also released the final box art for the game! Check it out in all its furry glory!
With Yoshi’s Wooly World, Super Mario Maker, Xenoblade Chronicles X and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash all on the horizon, it looks like this fall is the perfect time to dust off the Wii U!
