The indie sport title that took gaming by charge this summer has been revealed for Xbox by a Taiwan ratings board.
Much like the United States’ ESRB and the European PEGI rating system, Taiwan has a classification board of its own. Through them, it’s been revealed that the previously PC and PS4 exclusive Rocket League will be launching on Xbox One soon.
The leaked rating, seen below, doesn’t have much information that I can read, besides the Xbox One platform.
While the announcement is a surprise, Rocket League coming to Xbox isn’t totally unexpected. A representative from Psyonix, the game’s developer, said in the past that the game wouldn’t be exclusive to PC and PS4 forever.
“Yes, we are definitely bringing Rocket League to additional platforms,” he said. “We’ll have an official announcement of what platforms those are a little further down the line… Hopefully before the end of the year, but I can’t confirm that.”
For those of you who missed any of the buzz Rocket League generated over the past few months, check out the trailer below.
Do you think Rocket League will come out on Xbox and other platforms soon? Could we see a reveal for additional platform at this Thursday’s Game Awards where Rocket League is nominated for awards? Feel free to share you thoughts with me in the comments below or on Twitter!
