How To Watch Game Awards On Xbox One

The most prestigious Game of the Year event is happening tomorrow night, and here’s how to make the most of it.

The 2015 Game Awards will be available through a number of streaming services online, but the Xbox team has made sure the best place for gamers to watch the ceremony is right on the couch.

Starting tomorrow night at 6p.m. PST/9p.m. EST, Xbox gamers can stream the Awards from their Xbox One dashboard. As the show progresses, the Xbox streaming service will host polls so players can predict winners of each category. From there, players can compete with friends who are also watching the show to see who can make the most correct predictions.

During the show, special deals from the Xbox Marketplace will be revealed. While there is no guarantee, you can guess what games will be on sale based on what Xbox titles are nominated. Games like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Ori and the Blind Forest, Metal Gear Solid V, Witcher 3 and so on are all up for at least one award, so don’t be shocked if they receive the discount treatment.

Earlier last week, the Game Awards host Geoff Keighley promised at least 10 premieres at the show. While most remain unknown, we know for certain there will be a gameplay debut for the upcoming Far Cry Primal and you’ll be seeing another trailer for Quantum Break as well.

Will you be tuning into the 2015 Game Awards? Do you plan on watching on Xbox or another streaming service? Feel free to share your plans with me in the comments below or on Twitter!
