Next batch of back compat titles coming to Xbox One soon

Xbox boss Phil Spencer took to Twitter this afternoon to shed some light on when the next Xbox 360 games will be available on Xbox One.

The first 104 backwards compatible games came to Xbox One last November along with the NXOE update. While the initial list left much to be desired, Phil Spencer said more should be coming within the next week or so.

Major Nelson’s blog from the initial announcement has this to say about December’s games:

“You can expect new Xbox One Backward Compatible games to be announced on a regular basis, starting in December. More titles are on the way, including fan favorites like Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite and Skate 3. Stay tuned because this just the beginning of a long list of Xbox 360 games that will run on Xbox One.”

What’s unclear is if we should expect all these great games in December or if they’ll be coming out in bunches over the next few months. I’m personally hoping the Bioshock games are ready for this month’s update. Fingers crossed!

Which 360 games are you hoping come tobackwards compatibly this month? Feel free to share your thoughts with me in the comments below or on Twitter!
