Naughty Dog delays their final Uncharted title yet again to add more “polish.”
As production wraps up on Uncharted 4, it’s been decided that Naughty Dog needs a few more weeks to polish up some of the game’s key sequences. Because of this, the PS4 exclusive’s launch date has been moved from March 18, and will now launch on April 26, 2016.
Game Directors Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann said the decision wasn’t made lightly.
“Pushing the date is not an easy choice, and we wouldn’t do it if we didn’t feel in our hearts it’s the best course of action for the game. To you, our loyal fans, we hope you’ll accept our sincere apology. We know many of you have been waiting patiently for Nathan Drake’s final chapter, and now we humbly ask you to wait a bit longer.”

In other Uncharted 4 news, a brand new CG trailer for the game was shown in select theaters before Star Wars: The Force Awakens. If you weren’t lucky enough to catch it already, it’s worth a watch.
