New backwards compatible titles come to Xbox One

Another batch of Xbox 360 games are now playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.

Ten new Xbox 360 games are available on Xbox One starting later today. Along with the new games, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson has announced that from now on backwards compatible games won’t release as batches but rather release randomly title by title.

  • Aegis Wing
  • Age of Booty
  • Counter-Strike: GO
  • Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad
  • Sam & Max Save the World
  • Skullgirls Arcade
  • Small Arms
  • Soulcalibur
  • Space Giraffe
  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will be available free in some regions, so if you haven’t picked up the fantastic RPG yet, be sure to head over to the Xbox Marketplace and pick it up!

What do you think of the latest batch of BC games? Do you think that releasing BC games randomly instead of as a batch is a good idea? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below or on Twitter!

  1. I’m pretty disappointed to still not see Call of Duty: Black Ops
I sold my 360 and my copy of black ops after I got an Xbox One then when I heard that black ops would be backwards compatible I bought it again expecting it to be available very soon… almost 2 months later, still nothing
