Bethesda’s reboot of DOOM is working hard to maintain the series’ brutal roots.
If blood and gore make you weak in the knees, it’s best you run for the hills because the new DOOM reboot trailer fires on all cylinders.
While the content of the trailer speaks for itself, the decision to launch the game in May is interesting. Launching DOOM one month prior to E3 2016 must mean that Bethesda’s press conference will have plenty of time to show off Dishonored 2 and Elder Scrolls Online DLC.
Along with the standard $59.99 retail version of the game, Bethesda also announced a special collectors edition of the game for $119.99 that features a 12-inch Revenant statue and a metal case.
DOOM is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on May 13, 2016.
