Xbox One adds Left 4 Dead 2 to backwards compatibility program

Valve’s multiplayer zombie survival game in now playable on Xbox One.

Today, Major Nelson took to Twitter to announce that starting this afternoon, Xbox One gamers who own Left 4 Dead 2 on Xbox 360 can now find the title in the “Ready To Install” tab.

Left 4 Dead 2 was briefly available to download in February thanks to an exploit that was since patched. Now that the game is officially available, the download is now available to everyone.

Left 4 Dead 2 is the fourth game added to backwards compatibility in two days. Perhaps gamers should start seeing a trend of multiple Xbox 360 games being added to program on a weekly basis.
