Xbox’s Director of Program Management dispels the notion of a April preview update.
Mike Ybarra of Xbox took to Twitter this morning to tell gamers that the next Xbox One update is still a few months from public release.
Win10 Anniversary Update announced at //build will have key gaming features, so next Xbox system update goes to preview end May/early June.

As Ybarra mentioned, the //Build conference detailed new Xbox One features like background music, Microsoft’s Siri-like assistant Siri, and the opening of the Universal Windows Platform on Xbox One.
If the update launches in the Xbox One Preview program in May or June, it looks like the public release won’t happen until sometime in July — just in time for the one-year anniversary of Windows 10.
