Sources claim Rocksteady’s gritty Batman games are coming to next-gen consoles this summer.
A leak posted by a GameStop employee earlier today reveals that Arkham HD is coming to consoles on June 10, 2016. This listing, shown below, claims that the collection will include both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City with updated visuals and all DLC included. Missing from the listing is 2013’s Arkham Origins, which was developed by Warner Bros. Montreal. Origins was not nearly as well-received by fans and critics as Rocksteady’s installments, but it’s nonetheless surprising it won’t be included in the remaster.
It can be noted that the collection is slated to come to both Xbox One and PS4. Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are both already available on PC, so it makes sense the remaster won’t launch on the platform.
If the listing is to be believed, pre-orders are supposedly opening tomorrow making a full reveal imminent. The leak has yet to be confirmed by Warner Bros., so be sure to take it with a grain of salt until they make an official statement.
