Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered will feature full campaign and most multiplayer maps.
After a week of low-resolution image leaks, it seems there is finally a graphic with substantial details regarding the next Call of Duty titles.
Before anyone gets too excited let’s go over some basic details. The date in the Infinite Warfare poster is using the European (and occasionally Canadian) date system. Meaning the game is to launch on November 4, 2016. While we’re at it, the prices on the right are Canadian retail pricing. This means the game will likely cost $59.99 for the base game and $89.99 for the bundle that includes Modern Warfare remastered.
Not let’s get into the specifics. In the fine print, it can be read that the remastered Modern Warfare will contain the original campaign and only 10 of the 20 maps from the 2007 version of the game. While this it’s odd to cut half the multiplayer content, this could be done to keep out filler maps and strictly feature fan-favorites.
While Activision and developer Infinity Ward have yet to officially reveal Infinite Warfare or the remaster, they did send out this comical tweet that all but confirms the leaks as real.
