Battlefield 1 multiplayer reveal coming June 12

EA and DICE’s World War I shooter will debut gameplay during the EA Play conference.

Battlefield 1 multiplayer will be officially unveiled on June 12 at 2:00 p.m. PT during the EA Play conference in Los Angeles. While EA’s press release is light on the details, they have said that Battlefield YouTube celebrities will lead the livestream. To keep things interesting, two of the most prominent Battlefield players, NOOB and StoneMountain64, will act as team captains.

Those who are attending the EA Play event will also be amongst the firs to play Battlefield 1 ahead of its beta coming sometime later this year.

Hype for the Battlefield franchise has been at a high this month since DICE release their stunning trailer for the game. Since its unveiling, the YouTube trailer has amassed 36 million views and nearly 2 million thumbs up — trouncing Activision and Infinity Ward’s struggling Infinite Warfare trailer.
