Xbox backwards compatibility adds eight new titles

Latest backwards compatibility batch adds Fallout New Vegas and more.

First leaked this morning on Reddit, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson has now confirmed on Twitter that eight more games are being added to the backwards compatibility program.

  • Fallout New Vegas
  • Blood Knights
  • Red Faction Battlegrounds
  • Joe Dangers
  • Comic Jumper
  • Crystal Quest
  • Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara
  • I Am Alive
  • Although many top requests like Red Dead Redemption and Skyrim haven’t been added just yet, games like Fallout New Vegas and I Am Alive are certainly a welcome addition to a backwards compatibility program.

As always, it can take time for some games to show up in your Ready to Install tab, so be sure to exercise a pinch of patience.

What games are you hoping come to the back compat program next? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below or on Twitter.

    1. I have black flag on my 360 which was free way back when. Why can’t I transfer it to my Xbox one seeing that they released it for the Xbox one way back when too. I tried doing a license transfer way back when, but that did nothing. Also please make mass effect 2/3 backwards compatible soon. Those are my favorite games. It’s going to take you guys forever to release every game. You should do 20 games at a time starting with the most played first. Some of the games that have been released for backwards shouldn’t have been yet. Do the good games 1st, and save the crappy games for later. Just saying!
