After going dark for a few months, Warner Bros. Interactive is ready to share the new release date for Return to Arkham.
After being delayed just weeks before its original launch date, Warner Bros. has revealed that gamers can step back into the shoes of Batman on October 21, 2016. Along with the review, Warner Bros. have also revealed a new side-by-side trailer to showcase the graphics improvements players can expect when the collection launches next month.
In the YouTube description, Warner Bros. also confirms the October 21 release for anyone still feeling skeptical.
When the game was delayed earlier this summer, the publisher noted that the team needed awhile longer to polish the game and keep performance steady.Return to Arkham will featured updated visuals, environments, lighting, shaders, models and more. Last-gen, the Arkham games were built on Unreal Engine 3, but in the remaster, fans can expect everything to be redone in Unreal Engine 4. While the trailer above doesn’t quite reach some of the stunning visuals in last year’s Arkham Knight, the difference between the original and the remasters are impressive.
Batman: Return to Arkham will launch October 21 for $49.99 or £39.99 on PS4 and Xbox One.
