You can test drive one of the most anticipated Xbox One games of 2016 right now.
Ahead of it’s launch on September 27, developer Playground Games is giving Xbox One gamers a chance to take Forza Horizon 3 for a spin.
In the demo, players are given the chance to cruise around beautiful vistas all around Australia. Much of the open world that players have come to expect from the franchise remain blocked off during the demo period, but the sample included in the trial gives a great idea of what players can expect from the retail version later this month.
Forza Horizon 3 is the first game from Microsoft Studios to offer HDR for gamers with new 4K televisions. Unfortunately, Mike Ybarra of Xbox took to Twitter to let gamers know the feature isn’t in the demo version of the game.
Not in this initial demo. Will be at launch! https://t.co/fz0kUrWCQR

Although these numbers are subject to change, Horizon 3 has 488 roads where its predecessor Forza Horizon and Forza Horizon 2 had 216 and 315 roads respectively. Again, the full map isn’t available in the beefy 18.34GB demo, but the road count should offer a bit of insight as to how big Horizon 3’s game world is.
You can download the Horizon 3’s demo straight to your Xbox from the Windows Store. Forza Horizon 3 will launch on the Windows 10 store as a “play anywhere” title later this month, but for now, there’s no demo available for PC gamers.
