Starting this week, The annual holiday sale on Xbox is set to offer savings on tons of games.
Xbox Live’s Major Nelson announced today that this year’s holiday sale will start on Dec. 22, 2016 and run until Jan. 9, 2017. With over two full weeks of savings, Xbox is claiming this year’s deals will be part of the “biggest sale ever.”
Throughout the sale, more than 350 games will be discounted, and based on the teaser above, we can expect games like Dishonored 2, Battlefield 1, Dead Rising 4, Forza Horizon 3 and other just released games to be receiving sale prices. According to Xbox, these deals will go live 0n a daily basis with weekly deals cycling on Dec. 29 (one week after it starts). While prices aren’t yet known, Major Nelson’s press release says deals will be as good as 60 percent off on major AAA titles. It’s safe to say some indies will receive deeper discounts.
If you’re looking to re-up on Xbox Live Gold subscriptions Xbox is cutting the cost of renewal to $1 for a month. Those with Gold can expect an extra 10 percent off select games, too!
