Bethesda’s 2015 mobile hit Fallout Shelter is the next Xbox Play Anywhere title.
Fallout Shelter is hitting Xbox One and Windows 10 for free on February 7, 2014. Of course, this isn’t the first time Fallout Shelter has made the leap from mobile – in the summer of 2016, the game debuted on PC. Despite Fallout Shelter being native to mobile devices, the game still won’t be coming to Windows 10 phones anytime soon.
As a Play Anywhere title, save states will transfer from Windows 10 to Xbox One (and vice versa) seamlessly. Additionally, both platforms will share the same 1,000G Achievement points.

For those new to the game, Fallout Shelter puts players in the role of the Overseer who must manage and expand the vault to meet the needs of community. This means building new facilities, fend off raiders and mutants and send off vault dwellers to scavenge for loot. When it launches on Xbox One and Windows PC, the game will feature all of the content Bethesda has added since launch like pets, scrapping and crafting.
Fallout Shelter will hit the Xbox One and Windows PC digital shelves on February 7, 2017. At this time, Bethesda hasn’t announced any additional consoles or platforms to receive the game.
