Capcom has announced a new bundle of ’90s classics is coming to PC and console next month.
Following the success of the Resident Evil 4-6 next-gen bundle that hit shelves last year, Capcom is once again returning to the nostalgia playbook with the Disney Afternoon Collection. The bundle, which launches on April 18, will feature six retro classics: Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers 1 & 2, Ducktales 1 & 2, TaleSpin and Darkwing Duck.
While the graphics and assets might not be overhauled, Capcom has said there will be new features added to the games such as Boss Rush, Time Attack and Rewind.
Thankfully, it seems this nostalgic bundle comes cheap: When Disney Afternoon Collection hits Xbox One, PS4 and PC next month, it’ll cost gamers $19.99. Somewhat surprisingly, the official Capcom press release doesn’t even mention the word “remastered.” Thankfully, the bundle will have all six games running in 1080p, though it’s not been revealed if the games will be adjusted to modern display aspect ratios or if it’ll feature arcade-like side panels like 2015’s Rare Replay. While there’s still a lot we’d like to have clarified, Capcom promises the “crispiest 8-bit graphics in town” – whatever that’s supposed to mean.
Disney Afternoon Collection is heading to Xbox One, PS4 and PC April 18, 2017.
