A crudely named PS4 release that includes the base game and all season pass content is coming to Sony’s platform this holiday season.
After meager sales on Xbox One and PC, Capcom is bringing Dead Rising 4 to PS4 on December 5, 2017. Fitting the holiday theme, the publisher is naming the PS4 version of the game Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package. While the name is cringeworthy to say the least, the bundle has a lot to offer. It includes everything released for Dead Rising 4 including the base game with all difficulty settings, the season pass, and all weapon and skin packs. The PS4 version of the game is simply all the content for Dead Rising 4 ever produced for $49.99 USD.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen publishers throw a season pass in with a game after debuting on other consoles first. With Rise of the Tomb Raider, Square Enix made sure to include the season pass version of the game on PS4 as a consolation prize for waiting out Xbox One’s timed exclusivity.
When Frank’s Big Package launches on December 5, players on all platforms and existing owners will unlock the new free mode, Capcom Heroes. In this mode, protagonist Frank West unlocks different outfits that give him powers inspired by other Capcom characters.
