With guns, gore and sex, the latest Wolfenstein II trailer looks like something straight out of the Tarantino playbook.
Since its big reveal at Bethesda’s E3 2017 presentation, Wolfenstein II The New Colossus has been on everyone’s mind. The new trailer, No More Nazis, gives another look at new and returning characters coming to the franchise in New Colossus. Of course, the main event is nearly three minutes of explosive gameplay as protagonist BJ Blazkowicz slaughters fascists in Nazi-occupied America. Be warned, the trailer is more than a little graphic.
Set in an alternate reality, New Colossus takes place in the late 1960s as Nazis occupy the United States. After the events of New Order, BJ returns home to join the resistance and give hope to the American people. While it doesn’t have as much gameplay, the meatier announcement trailer from June has a little more character and setting development for those looking to get more acquainted with BJ’s resistance.
Today’s video is only the second major trailer for Wolfenstein II, and the game is set to launch on on October 27, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game will also host visual enhancements on PS4 Pro (and Xbox One X when it launches on November 7). As announced in last week’s Nintendo Direct, Wolfenstein II The New Colossus will also be coming to Nintendo Switch sometime in 2018.
