A Portal themed Bridge Constructor game has been announced, and it’s coming out soon!
Originally scheduled to be revealed tonight, on the eve of the Game Awards, Bridge Constructor Portal’s announcement trailer has popped up on developer Headup Games’ official YouTube account. The trailer, which you can check out below, is definitely a different direction than many were expecting from one of Valve’s most-beloved franchise, but it looks to maintain all of Portal’s signature charm.
After launching the original Bridge Constructor in 2013, Headon Games has steadily added more content and twists to the physics-based puzzler genre it helped define. According to the developer, the team has been working on the Portal themed iteration for the last year, and it’s coming out later this month.
This might not be the third installment in the Portal franchise some fans have been waiting for, but after seeing the trailer and the screenshots below, it’s hard not to see Bridge Constructor Portal’s potential as a great puzzler.
Bridge Constructor Portal is launching on PC, Mac and Linux as well as mobile platforms on December 20, and it’ll launch on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in early 2018.
