PlayStation Plus is about to have one of its best months ever, and Sony announces changes to the service for 2019.
On March 6, Bloodborne and Ratchet & Clank will headline what has to be one of the best months of PlayStation Plus of all time. Bloodborne is the award-winning action RPG made by the creators of Dark Souls. The game drips with style thanks to its Lovecraftian macabre atmosphere, brutal difficulty and hellish visuals. Ratchet & Clank is a reimagining of the original in line with the 2016 film release. Unlike the movie, the game was received well by critics and fans of the franchise – and it helps that the game is so damn charming to look at!
- Ratchet & Clank
- Legend of Kay
- Mighty No. 9 (Cross buy with PS4)
- Claire: Extended Cut (Cross buy with PS4)
- Bombing Busters (Cross buy with PS4)
Along with the suite of games, PlayStation also announced that as of March 8, 2019, PlayStation Plus would no longer be offering PS Vita and PS3 games as part of the service. All games, saves and downloads from PlayStation Plus subscriptions will still be accessible; there just won’t be free PS3 and Vita games for Plus subscribers each month. Sony noted the strong player base and engagement on PS4 as a reason they’re cutting legacy platforms from the service next year.
What games are you most looking forward to? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments below or on Twitter. Also, there’s just a few days left to download Plus games for February, so subscribers should be sure to grab them before they’re gone.
All six of the PlayStation Plus games can be downloaded by subscribers starting on March 6.
